Tis the season. No, not Christmas yet but the cold and flu season is here. How many times have you been out somewhere and heard coughing, hacking and the blowing of the noses? I bet you have heard them to many to count and it makes you want to run the other way!

Since that is really not always the practical choice to do we do have other choices available to us. One of course is having the flu vaccine which is now available in most areas. There are other ways in which to help as well. One is by taking the product 'Respiratory Guard'.

These are not bad chewing tablets that you take 2 tablets twice a day. That is a total of 4 for those that need a little help there Taking these is quick and easy to do and like I said not to bad tasting. What they do is to boost your immune system. I started taking these but already had the start of a cold. Following the directions taking the 4 per day in a couple of days I did feel better and the cold seemed to disappear quicker. These are NOT a cold remedy but to help boost your immune system in order to prevent the flu or cold. I am unsure if they helped make the cold shorter or it was just a mild case. I will keep taking these though because sometimes I do not have the time to go shopping for the proper foods that have the immune boosters already in them.

Tonight is going to be something a little new for us. Well, not for Trev but for Jamie, BB and I. He wanted us to go with him after work to Walmart. Now that does not sound to bad but he does not get home until 11:30 PM! By the time we get there it will be midnight.

Instead of thinking about dominican republic vacations or something great I will be thinking about walking around Wally World and wondering about the other crackheads that are shopping that late at night.

Oh, well what else does one do on a Saturday night? Sleep? Dance? Movie? Nonsense go to Walmart and live a little! haha

Friday was Nicky's 10th birthday! Imagine that. I look at him and just can not believe that he is ten already. Then again I look at all the kids and wonder where the time has gone.

Officially we celebrate on Sunday this way all the kids will be around and home. Even Mister Trevor will be off work and be able to be there. Although I think that he will be busy in the morning chasing down a health insurance lead that he heard about. But that won't take long to do at all.

Nicky's choice for his birthday dinner is burritos. Quick and easy so I liked that a lot!

After the Halloween jaunt it seems that now I just feel Blah. Tired and energy just low. I have a ton of things that I should be doing but actually all I would like to do is lay down and take a nap.

But since it is Sunday I have the normal things that I do. One of the first things I did this morning was clean the Great Room. Didn't take all that long to do but it feels a little better down there. I moved on to thinking about cleaning off the tv stands which I noticed that the kids have piled a bunch of things all over. Nice job guys!

Now that it is nearly 2:30 I still have to do a load of wash and settle in to thinking about what needs to be accomplished tomorrow for work. Never really ends does it?
