No Property Tax Bill

After the huge scare of Marion County and the surrounding communities and the overly high increase on home owners property tax bills, I am relieved to hear that we are only receiving a 2% increase (or so they say).

The bills are just now going to the State for approval which will take 6-12 weeks to get back to our county. My the government works speedy. After which time it will be another 15 or more days.

Speaking with the accessors they will not be mailed till Sept/Oct. Now I can got to the mail box without breaking into a sweat.

Have to wait and see what the bill will be. If it is high, there will be a large community out pour just like Marion County and I will sure as hell be there also.
