When my son was in kindergarten he had a problem with certain reading areas. One he was to young to be in kindergarten on an emotional level but due to the rules and regulation in California he had to go to school when he was 5. He was 3 days being 5 when he started school

The teachers at his school suggested that he enroll at the Score learning Center located in Fair Oaks.

I enrolled him in the program for reading, thinking that it would be helpful. I did not realize how helpful it really was. With the fun interactive program they had for his grade level his progress in reading and sounding out words was apparent in less than a month of attending.

He is now in 2nd grade and I firmly believe that without his attending the Score Learning Center he would not have as high of reading scores when tested if he had not attended this school. I am ever so grateful for the types of program they have available to parents and children that need that extra help.

Shaina and Nick called this evening. I talked to Shay to tell her about her dead beat father, Thomas P. Mckinnon. She had to laugh. In many ways it is funny

There is another big storm coming in. Coming in very quickly I might add. There is a tornado watch going on but not in our county as of yet. Storm is moving though--fast

I am in a really cranky mood right now. I have to much work to do and more on the way. Makes me happy yet not. Balance I guess

This weekend the boys might be going with their dad. That will be nice. I have some occult things I would love to do without them being here.

It stated in one article that they did not place animals in homes of children under 14. Well the girls where 11 & 12 I think. Pretty close to the age requirements. Why didn't this animal placement service go into the home and review it? Oh, but wait they did not do that with Ellen did they? Nope.

I watched the video of them taking the dog Iggy. I have to agree they looked like Nazis taking Jews to a camp

It never ceases to amaze me how a buyer can buy something and they add their own shipping price. Of course it is not the correct amount always way, way lower than it is. I just had someone do that. They paid and probably think that was a fair amount. Well, wake up it is wrong. I do not care that you already paid. Either pay the correct amount or I will refund you.

If there is no shipping amount you generally wait for an invoice from the buyer not put in what you think it is.

That would be like me buying a few
flat panel televisions and adding shipping of $10. Seems fair to me. How about you?

It is unfair to sellers to do this. It also causes billing confusion. Why not just wait? I can not wait to deal with this person at all. I bet it will be a fight. I am going to have to write them a personal not with the amount that they still owe.

So a word to the Ebay buyer, wait for the seller to contact you. Do not adjust your invoice unless the seller states to do so. Give us a break. That would be just great.

Well, I received a call back from the Sacramento DA today. Oh did they make me mad. Numerous levels of anger

First they tell me that he has not worked since Oct. 10th. OK, explain mid September and no payments made by the dead beat. They can't. Next they tell me that Trev will be emancipated in 08. Ah no he won't not until 09.

Thomas P. Mckinnon is a deadbeat father. Sorry but he is. I know that he is sitting there thinking that he has it made. He won't pay until Trev turns 18 then it is over and done with. HA not the case. I would love to be the one to tell him this.

I have to get a paper from the school stating when he graduates. No problem at all.

It is a shame that the ex spouses (not all) do not feel it is their duty to pay child support. Dump it all on the other spouse. This is why I do not consider him a parent. I have paid and paid without help. Not because it is a duty but because they are my children and my responsibility. Oh, there is the key word that Thomas P. Mckinnon does not know the meaning of.

I hope that something happens to his brand new truck and his brand new Harley motorcycle.

Are you hooked on perfumes? I know that my entire family is. Down to my youngest son who loves to dabble in after shave of his big brother.

Although I usually only wear one scent this does not stop my vanity to be cluttered with an array of different perfumes. I love it.

Sometimes though that smelly goodness comes with a high price. Now you can purchase discount perfume on a great site.

Perfume Bay has so many different brands of perfumes for men and women it is unbelievable. What is really unbelievable is the prices.

You can find, say for instance, Christian Dior at prices well below retail at your local stores. They carry many name brands and not at the name brand prices.

Since Christmas is coming, I made a list of who would get what. My one daughter in California already put in her favorite perfume and guess what? It was there! Saving me a minimum of $8.50 the normal price I was going to pay. I was tickled pink to see that.

I passed this along to another of my friends that has nothing but girls in her family. After she looked at Perfume Bay she told me she already purchased 5 different perfumes for the holidays. Now that is a good shopper!

Why pay high prices for smelling good? I know that I am not that is for sure

For a long time I have been against getting children's vaccinations. After reading and researching a lot on my own about the many things that can happen I decided not to do this any more.

I use the religious beliefs statue that is available. I do believe in my path strongly and part of it is no more shots.

Today I was reading an article on Yahoo about this is the latest craze for parents. The statistics are showing more and more parents are going the same route. AND claiming the religious beliefs.

Maybe we are wrong which one doctor stated, but then again by not immunizing we dip into their over inflated pockets. In other words, are they concerned about the children or the money they loose?

Guess which one I think it is?
