Received a notice that all Ebay's seller fees for auction and fixed prices will be slashed 33%. Which is good to a point. This starts today and ends Nov. 5th I believe.
An example of the cost slash is this. Say you list an auction item like
Bette Midler tickets. You want to start the item at .99 to get a little action and excitement going with the buyers. Normally this would cost you .20. Now during this slash and dash it will be only .10.
I am guessing Meg must need a new fur coat or a limo. Or could it be that the influx of sellers dropping out due to the high fees that is generated by Ebay brings them to the short term fix of tantalizing the sellers to post more.
I utilize this type of seller fee schedule I will admit that. It has no effect on my storefront which the fees are out of this world for selling like this. I was hoping they would do something for the auction listings. I usually do one or two per month. Why?
Twofold in my reasoning. One it brings new buyers to my storefront. while they are looking at my auction items, they pop into the store. Since I have a premier store I show up in more searches. The second reason is that auction listings generate slightly more income. Not a lot or I would do it all the time.
You only have a couple of weeks for this sale. Use at your own risk
