Mix Your Own Drink
I had so much fun on this site using my imagination making different drinks. They have a flash software set up so you actually are in charge of making your own drinks.
You are thinking-So what? Oh, my friend this was amazing. The process is in simple steps that takes you from choosing the glassware to shaking it up and finishing the drink.
They show you various ices you are able to use with the drinks. It then will fill the glass appropriatel. After that you are able to choose ingriedinets to make your drink. That was fun!
Let's say you like gin drinks well they show a complete listing for the additions that you are able to mix and match in this drink that you are thinking up.
After you are completed with the drink, the final step is to add the garnish of your choice. That was interesting! I chose my garnish and there it was on the glass.
You do have to be over 21 to use this site. Placing your birth year in the box and then you are taken to the mixing of your drink. After you have completed the drink you have your choice of posting your recipe to anonymously or joining the site. If you post by either method others are able to read your drink recipe and talk about it. There are over 8,880 recipes on the site right now. Plenty to choose from and get your own ideas from.
There is also the advantage of saving your recipes in a data base so you are able to return if you have forgotten your own ingredients. That is a nice advantage to the site.
With holiday parties coming up this would be a good site to visit. Either in creating your own new drinks or searching the thousands of previous recipes posted by other bartenders! Coming up with new and unique drinks for your party.

End of Week-Finally
I am so glad it is the end of the week. Not that the work oad has lightened up, just that I do not have to worry about working late and then getting the boys up and ready for school.
Which is a wonderful thought
Have to get all the orders out that are remaining for the week no later than tomorrow as I arraigned for a pick up on Saturday and well today also.
I need to remember to order stamps as I think I am now out and have memberships to mail out. Figures.
Man, it is so cold this morning. Out front it looked like snow was covering the yards. Pretty to see, just cold!
Have to call Norm this morning also. ;( About three different topics to talk to him about. Should be a 5 minute call. hahaha
