Wiccan Network has added a temporary blog. This is not the official web site nor is it the official blog. Both are still in the making and will be released soon.

What this is for is to post news on the site as it becomes available. Nothing fancy at all. We will be placing those links of sites that have submitted either with the web submission form, private emails or posting comments on our other sites.

All these will be added so others will get the feel of who you are and what is starting to come in.

A friend of mine wears glasses all the time. She at times I think sleeps in them. We were talking the other day about how she wanted to change the way she looked. Growing tired of the glasses. Especially if you knew how many she has broken or misplaced.

While we were looking at the various styles and designs of glasses I asked June why she just didn't switch to Acuvue Oasys contact lenses. I mean there is a great way to change your personal look. She was reluctant as she was talking about the cost and time it took to order them. She also lives in a neighboring small town so she does not have the means of just picking the glasses or lenses up.

I led her to the company, 1-800-GET-LENS, and told her to look at what they had to offer. You are able to order the lenses online with a quick process right on their site. Not to mention they are more than reasonable in cost. Actually after doing a little more research, they are one of the lowest priced on the web for the services and actual lenses that they offer.

When June read that by wearing the Acuvue Oasys lenses there would be no more dry or irritated eyes she was ready to get that prescription filled.

I think what was really helpful was sitting and reading the reviews. As we all know I have been on a rampage about reading reviews of products lately. Finding that there were more satisfied customers than you could shake a stick at!

June, the last I talked to her this morning, was switching. New look and no more dry eyes. Another future customer that will be satisfied.

There are many ideas in the think tank right now for the site. Do you have any? If so, send them in!

Last night I tried a new recipe that I found in my Rachael Rae monthly magazine. Sounded a little on the different side so I told the family we were going to try it. The recipe is for a meat loaf that contains pickles and cheese. I know that does not sound like a very good combo but I just had to do it.

I was wondering how it would smell while cooking. The aroma was of dill that filled the house. It was actually a nice smell to my surprise. When opening up the oven though the dill was over powering and nearly knocked me for a loop. I didn't like that part very much at all. At least I know that if anything went wrong with my nose there are revision rhinoplasty can correct the aesthetics of the nose.

The meat loaf was excellent. The mixture of cheese and pickles was perfect. Giving the meat loaf a moist texture and the taste was out of this world. One bite you would taste the cheese the next the pickles. Like a big cheese burger in a way. My youngest, who is going through a I do not like anything at all phase, really liked it. He actually asked for seconds. A true culinary compliment.

Would I cook it again? Yes. Although I have not heard from my oldest daughter and son in law yet on how they liked it. So the verdict is still out on those two. I bet though my son in law liked it. Well, he is like Mikey, he'll eat anything.

Every year since I have purchased our home I change the color scheme of the kitchen. Our first year I just left it as there was to many other things to really do. I did go with the colors that were in there which was a blue. Why blue I have no idea but that is what they had.

I have had yellows, oranges as I love the bright and cheery look in our kitchen. Last years curtains had fruits all over them. Matching the oranges in the kitchen. Looked really pretty to me. This year though I am going for something a little different even for me. The accessories and curtains are leaning towards the bright greens. I found some material that has a three tone color mix with very small white flowers mixed in. It has the greens and a splash of yellow that will certainly brighten up the kitchen.

My children said it was so bright that they might have to call a plastic surgeon to repair the wrinkle damage around their eyes from squinting while looking at them. haha But I think that when the sun is shining through them the kitchen will have a neat looking glow to it. OK, green/yellow glow. Fit for an alien

After I have all my weekly work finished I will start on the curtains. Since I have my new handy dandy sewing machine it should not take me forever and a day to get them finished.

Mondays. Ah, you have to love them. The start of a fresh week. Another 5 days or more to get things done for work. If you are like me though your work week is 7 days and not 5. Hearing that Monday is a start to a new week to me is rubbish. Sometimes I can not tell where Monday started or left off. All the days are really the same. Just different names for them.

Working behind this computer, having a home business you tend to loose track of days. Even hours. Days and time blurs into one big ball. Or it does for me. I loose days. Thinking that Monday is Wednesday and vice versa. I am sure that I am not the only one that feels this way. By the time mid week comes a long my days are so mixed up that I have to keep checking my calendar for what day it is.

Mondays are a prep day for shipping on Tuesdays. I have to get all the orders together and process them. Sometimes I just do not like Mondays for this reason. I think that George Flynn might feel the same way, but I could be wrong.

I know that saying April showers bring May flowers but come on! We have had our fill of cold weather here. We went from 70 degrees to 40 in a blink of an eye. I am so tired of the cold. Like many others here they no sooner feel like spring is here, the warmth is so good only to have a cold front sneek up and freeze those red robins tails off again.

I don't mind the rain at all. In fact I love the thunder storms we have here. Although we were on a tornado watch I think it was Friday, the winds and rains do not bother me. It is the cold that really gets to you after awhile.

While looking for something, lord knows what it was now, I read San Diego day spa and massage reviews. I thought of laying there in the nice sun basking away and being pampered. A nice fantasy. The I woke up in my sweatshirt and hands of ice. No sun to be seen. No warmth to be felt. Yep, I was still in Indiana.

On Friday my new Brother sewing machine arrived right on time. I was really happy that it did come on a weekend so I could mess around with it and not have to worry about work.

When I first starting looking at sewing machines I wanted to make sure that this would be easy. Since I am not an avid seamstress the easier the better. I read each review that I could find on this machine. Actually I sat down and read 150 of them one afternoon.

The Singer actually was a close second to this model in how easy it was to use and other qualities. Surprised me a lot. You would think that Singer would have been top notch. This Brother is light weight, then again compared to the one that I have a ten ton monkey might feel lighter. haha

I only did one project this weekend, to cold really to do anything. I finally finished my sons blanket that I was making him by hand for Christmas. haha Hey, better late than never. By the time I finished that, in a record 15 minutes, I had the time to read an article about New York cosmetic surgery. A pretty good article and site.

So far I like the machine. The booklet was a nightmare to read and understand. But then the reviewers all said that. It really shows that you should really read reviews on things before you buy them. Good or bad they do help.
