Check That Car Before You Buy
Pandora @ 17:42
I don't know about you but in my past I have purchased a couple of used cars that I really wish that I had had a Car Buying Concierge service available to me.
I mean the one car that I purchased I was young and thought it looked so cool. It had an aluminum block and the people that had the car saw me coming. I meant there were problems with this car that they did not disclose. Driving it home it over heated and I had no idea why. Luckily my boyfriend at the time knew a lot about cars and fixed the many, and I mean many problems. I still think the car was so cool looking to this day. Haha
Back in the day though we did not have services like CARCHEX. Having a full report on this vehicle sure would have been nice to have. Apparently there had been an accident and of course I didn't know about that. With a service such as CARCHEX I would have known this and possible even more.
What they do is a vital resource to the consumer. Saving time and a lot of money on not purchasing a lemon. Utilizing the free services that they have will help you to find the right car with the right specs for you. No need to worry about the what ifs, with their report you will know.
Buying a used car is hard enough. Some people out there are a little more than dishonest and just want to get the car off their hands quickly and at a high price. With the services here you wont have to worry about buying a clunker.
They also have many other services that will help the consumer in purchasing the best car. They will even negotiate with multiple dealerships finding you the best deal!
Worried that they may not be in your state? They are nationwide so help is just a phone call or a submit form away!

When Customer Service Fails
Pandora @ 17:18
I am a small business owner. Owning multiple niche sites that are different yet having the same theme. Going from one to another is sometimes tiring. Never knowing which hat I am wearing. But there is one thing that is certain with each business that I have customer service is nearly #1.
No, I do not completely kiss my clients rears as that is not entirely the right thing to do but I do try at every turn to soothe worries, help with their orders and sometimes just communicate with them on a personal level.
I transferred one of my domains to another company. I have all my other domains at this one company so thought it was time to do the same thing-move it on over there. Now this is an easy thing to do ans I have done this on several occasions. Easy as 1,2, 3. Not this time.
I did the transfer with the company I wanted to house the domain. Took less than 10 minutes for the entire process. All I needed was the verification key to complete the transfer. No big deal I think. I go over to the site that I have had this domain with for 8 years. A long time I know. Well, lo and behold there is no key nor code there.
I write to them asking for this. As in actuality they are supposed to send this once a request of transfer is received. Nothing happens for days. I waited a total of 8 days. Finally enough is enough and write a harsh letter to the company this time. I receive an answer. Telling me domain is about to expire.
I write another more heated letter. The time the person tells me that the letter was sent that I needed. End of email. Ok where is this letter?
I write again. OK this time I nearly calling them stupid asses as if they can send me bills and stupid emails where is the letter I need??? Reply was another has been sent. I sit and wait for 30 minutes. NO LETTER
My final letter to them was not nice, civil and was border line threatening as they were in fact prohibiting the transfer and there are certain Terms of Service that they have to abide by also.
My authorization code arrived in my email box within 6 minutes of my sending my final letter.
I didn't want them to kiss my butt I just wanted what I needed. They lack in any way a good customer support team.

Meetings On The Web
Pandora @ 02:37
Getting together with my staff is a pain at times. Since most of my staff is from all over the state communication is limited to telephone and emails. Telephone calls are always with us called Tag Due to the fact that even with set times we miss one another.
Emails are fine and usually answered right away so that is not a real problem. One problem though that I have found is that it has lost the luster of being in person. Face to face meetings for us are a thing of the past. A lot of businesses are this way. Workers now are employed all over and may never set foot in the home office. We have tried the web conferencing services of other companies but they were crudely made and simply did not work for us.
Now there is a new service that is available and seems to be what the doctor ordered for conferencing with my staff. Activating this service is a snap and you can be up and running within minutes of your account set up. No long, drug out waits for the admin to do what ever they say they are doing.
Set up for services is simple and to the point. With services to fit any sized company. That's right whether you have a staff of 2 to 100 they have a workable web conference plan to suit your needs.
The site is well designed and easy to navigate. I found exactly what information that I wanted to know about with 2 clicks. Not bad. No long term searching and searching. Their plans are reasonably priced and all come with
software maintenance
live US-based tech support
upgrades
updates
installation/setup assistance
live user training.

Additon To Our Family
Pandora @ 02:31
Well, yesterday Shay had her ultra-sound to find out what the sex of the baby is. Drum roll please....
Our newest member to the family will be Vincent or Vinnie. That's right, she is having a boy. Now we can start buying things for the baby and not just the standard non gender things. haha
I was a little mad yesterday when she called due to the fact that I could barely hear her due to the phone connection and her loud mouth friends in the background. People that age acting like heathens.
Now we know and everyone is just thrilled to death at the prospect of the baby boy. Delivery date is supposed to be 08-18-08.
Only a few more months to go
