Artistic Reproductions
Pandora @ 15:21
In our great room we have a few oil reproductions that are used as accents more than anything else. Of course I use one look now instead of multiple. Purchasing only those paintings that fit the room and era of how we are restoring it.
The room is large and ceilings are extremely high so bold, big paintings fit perfectly. One of my favorite artist is Edward John Poynter. I already have the painting Pea Blossoms. Which I was very lucky to find at a reasonable price. Dumb luck was all that was really. I have been looking for an oil painting entitled, The Cave of the Storm Nymphs. But the cost of this picture, even a reproduction is way out of the ball bark. Here is the picture that I want:
I just love this painting.
I finally found a site, yes a website that has this picture in the price and the size that I want. See if you find a picture that you are looking for you have to settle for the size that the store has. Usually it is smaller than you need or even want. Now, you are able to actually choose the sizes that you want. I want the size of 16 x 20. Surprise they had it!
They have so many reproduction oil paintings that if you are looking for something I am sure that you will find it. The site is so easy to navigate that it is a cinch to find things and information.
All the pictures are clickable and enlarged in a full size, not just the tiny little thumbs that are normally found. This way you are able to really see and get the full detail of the picture before you purchase it.
Another point that I liked and I am sure you will also is that all works of art are guaranteed. Even if you get it home and you do not like, you can return it to them.
There are so many options when purchasing these oil paintings that you should really go read and look for yourself.

Project Choosing
Pandora @ 15:14
Right now I am trying to figure out which project that I want to start this evening.
Now the bad thing is I saw something the other evening and decided that I could make the same thing and save the $50. I accidentally found the wood and have the sand paper. Well, somewhere that it is. Hmm, maybe that is my next project to find the sand paper. haha
Anyway, I am going to try to figure out how I want it to look. That will take awhile
