Grilled Shrimp and Apple Skewers
Pandora @ 05:01
It's the weekend! Looking for something that is quick and easy? Along with the quick and easy you want something that is a lot different.
Trying to please my herd is a never ending battle. They get so tired of regular meals so I have tried to come up with all kinds of different meals to please their taste buds. This one sounds so yummy it is sure to please those buds!
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon strawberry jam
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 Gala apples, cored and cut into eighths
* 16 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
DIRECTIONS
1. Whisk together the honey, olive oil, basil, strawberry jam, red pepper flakes, garlic, red wine vinegar, lemon juice and white sugar in a small bowl. Place the apples and shrimp into a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the shrimp and apples, seal the bag, and shake to coat; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
3. Thread the shrimp and apples alternately on 4 metal or soaked wooden skewers. Discard the remaining marinade.
4. Cook the skewers on the preheated grill until the shrimp are opaque, about 5 minutes per side.
Of course I received this in my email from allrecipe.com

There comes a time when business owners decide it is time to expand. This is a very hard decision to make as getting Small Business Loans sometimes is so very hard.
Filling out the applications alone is horrendous. Pages upon pages of information that you have to actually research for the answers. Small business owners have a difficult time obtaining loans as they have more to prove. Depending upon what your product or services are the lending company might look at that and decide that there really is no need for what you have to offer and decline your application. As niche services and products sometimes are looked at as a failure or loosing proposition.

Stop The Potential Thief
Pandora @ 03:30
Since my business is on line I take credit cards. A lot of the transactions I do worry about. Some appear to be a little flaky. Why do I worry? One reason is that you never know if it is really their cards. One service that I think would protect owners of the card and my business islifelock.
With this service you are able to protect your name and credit. Since identity theft is on the rise you can never be to careful with your personal information. If you do not take a stand with protection now you might be sorry later
It does not take much for a thief to steal your identity. I know that this has happened to my youngest daughter by her past friends who did this to her. A long and still on going investigation. If she had had a service like this she would have been alerted of suspicious activity.
Their service is reasonable in price. I mean compared to the end result the cost is small. Life Lock prohibits the out sider to use your information without you being informed.
Save your good name. Invest in a service that will do just that.
