Pandora's Casket

I was talking to one of my friends the other day and she was concerned about the summer. Why? Because as she put it, I feel like a blob. What started this conversations was she was looking at sexy swimwear and it depressed her. Why I have no idea as she has a knock out figure.

Summer woes always stem around those little string things they call bathing suits.

Come on we are all not these tiny, little women. I am a size 5 and still would feel a little stupid in some that I have seen.

Dental floss and a band aid would work just as well. AND it is cheaper to purchase!

With this last weekend before my daughter and Nick arrives I call it the last weekend of peace. haha One reason is that there will be two people added to the family club house here. The noise level, which is loud enough will be raised. Oh yes, he is bringing his drum set. Joy of joys there.

We have a lot to do this weekend. I made sure that I got enough sleep last night. After pulling nearly an all nighter on Thursday I was so tired on Friday. I went to bed, no correction, crawled into bed and that was all she wrote till this morning.

We have to go to Hartford City this afternoon. Having to go grocery shopping and to pick out a decorative Schlage piece for the dining room.

Busy weekend ahead

Olympic gold medalist Tim Montgomery has been fined and sentenced to 46 months in jail. This is for check fraud in the hundreds of thousands.

With his fighting heroin addiction for the past few years it seems that his life from 2002 has spiraled out of control. He was also selling heroine at the same time.

Since his amazing wins in the Olympic games in which he won the Gold in the 400 relay in 2000. In the same event in 1996 he won the silver medal. The year 2002 this man set a world record in the 100 meter dash. Being clocked at 9.78 seconds.

Fame seems to not have faired him well. He stated that he was listening to everyone telling him what to do. Going on to say that they even told him what to eat for breakfast.

Even though this may be true, it would appear that between the drugs and fading fame he still had the control to know right from wrong.

Maybe spending time in jail he will come to his senses and turn his life around. At 33 he has plenty of time to do this.

I smell a best selling book or maybe a movie of the week.
