After watching the new TV show In Plain Sight, I got to thinking about where I would want to go if I had to go into a witness protection program.
Now a lot of people choose busy cities as this way they would feel like they blend in and get lost in the crowds of swarming people. Which although this may be true I just would feel even more like I was sticking out like a sore thumb in that type of environment.
Personally I would choose somewhere like Kickapoo. The country side is beautiful and there are many small communities that you would be able to just disappear into site unseen.

The Kickapoo Valley Reserve is a wondrous place and living there would be an adventure in its self. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A perfect hiding place. Plus I love the name
Looking for a really good drama? Then you should check out the USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight. I think that this is going to be a smash series as it is off to a great start now.
Check your local listings for days and times. Snuggle up and enjoy the characters.

Yesterday was the long awaited city wide annual garage sale. Our small town and out lining country homes all gather together for one weekend event. There was over 30 homes on the list this year which I believe was down from last year.
This year though was not a sunny and warm event. After the major storm that felled trees, uprooted many that were well over a hundred years old, knocking limbs all over the place and closing many streets, the sale went forth.
We did have rain off and on but that did not stop most of the true blue lookers for deals. We were among those lookers. Leaving early and returning far into the late afternoon hours with our treasures in hand.
We went in different vehicles as my one daughter got a late start and a friend of the family was fooling around in his town it worked better for us just to, well ditch them and keep the deals for ourselves. haha
My daughter and son in law brought their baby Ruby ( their shepherd) and she sat in the back seat of the suburban with me. She loved every minute of barking and whining at the people and us when we left the car
Everyone got a lot of great deals. I was extremely happy as to the items that I found. Most if not all will go in my store front on eBay filling certain sections. By the end of the evening I was a very happy camper finding out that the deals I bought in fact were worth more than I had anticipated.
A very fun day for all. Despite the rain and wind
