Pandora's Casket

I think that the one of the best summer vacations that we ever had was camping at Dillons Beach in the Bay area. Always windy and cold but the kids surely enjoyed it. I think one of the best years was when my oldest son had the bee that was chasing him and some how ended up in his swimming trunks. We never did figure that one out. Luckily he didn't get stung. This was the same year that Shay found the smashed flat rabbit and picked it up with a shovel and proclaimed it was her friend and she wanted to take it home. Ah, needless to say she went home friendless. A lot of fun that is for sure!


Looking at all the different trips makes it so hard to choose. My youngest boys are always saying that they would love to visit the Kennedy Space Center someday. That would be a pretty neat trip for the entire family I think. Have not been there yet.



One thing I know is that you can always find things to do in Los Angeles. Being a California native LA is one place that is filled with the diversity that a family or even a single person would ever want! I wouldn't want to live there (stayed there for a while) but I love to visit. I have a lot of friends that live in and around so visiting is always a thrill for me.


Now one place I have been told that there are a lot of things to do in New York . I have that on my list to go. We aren't that far away so we are looking into travel options as a family to go on a week or longer vacation. Exciting!

Seems like we are on a warming trend here. Going to be in the 90's and with the humidity it can be miserable.

Today working with the oils and herbs was nearly painful. Between the oil scents, herbs flying in my face and the heat it was terrible.

I decided finally at nearly 4PM after running to the PO to ship everything out that was completed to eat my lunch and take a quick break. Then it will back in the smelly room to make more oils for tomorrow
