Credit is one thing that I am really a watcher on. I keep track of nearly everything and anything that there is. In my younger years I really did not care and it took a long while to get things on track. A lot of my friends are not as lucky as I am. I have a few that have had to get Debt consolidation on more than 2 occasions which really stressed them out. Then again they were not wise with the financial choices that they made.

This coming week we will finally begin the addition and restoration to my room. I was sitting here looking around and thinking what a mess this is truly going to be.

I have to move all the dressers, the stands and other furniture into the near middle of the room in order to have the walls expanded and new sheet rock put up. That is just a start though.

When this is finished (finally) I will begin the planning of the reading nook that will be opened up. Right now we are using the space as storage. I want to open it up saving at least half for storage and the rest goes for the reading section. Also have the other side of the stair case to do. Now that will be a big job.

Have to figure out what to do with the pre-1700 loom that is there. Yep. It came with the house, being in the attic which I have restored into a bedroom with work area.

Right now I dread the mess. In the long run it will look so much better and I need the extra space. haha I can re-do the landing as well this summer Love that idea a lot!

Birthdays are really popular here in our house from July throughout November. I think that December is one of the months that we have zero! I just love the summer vegetables. Especially since here we are able to get fresh squash from neighbors that grow it or from the local farms. It is so good when it is that fresh.

Usually I like to boil it then after draining it place butter adding salt and pepper. Always a big hit. Plus it is so easy. And we all know by now I like things easy!!!!

I found this recipe and thought it sounded a little different and you know it, easy. haha This is for 2 servings.



Grilled Zucchini












Ingredients

1 large zucchini
4 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1. Preheat grill to medium high heat.
2. Clean outer skin of zucchini, and slice lengthwise into quarters. Place a pat of butter or margarine on each zucchini quarter, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Wrap all four quarters in one piece of aluminum foil.
3. Place foil wrapped zucchini on heated grill, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes on each side.
