Who Talks To Dragons?
Pandora @ 15:20
During the course of a day I write and edit at least 10-15 articles. These are for either the blogs that we have, the publication that I own or for other sites and publications that I write for. I type fairly fast, sometimes I have to in order to get to the other tasks at hand started. I was watching the video on the product and was impressed by what this software can actually do for you.
If you are able to speak to your computer and the program will type at a speed of 150 words per minute think about the work that you would be able to generate in a day. I was impressed by the ease of how the program works. As I have used other voice recognizing programs to attempt to type my work. In the past they just did not cut the mustard with anything that I did and I found it simply easier to go back to typing my way.
Sometimes I use my voice activated digital recorder as an aide for my articles that I publish. It helps to log those ideas that I have that sometimes I loose when I sit down to type I feel that I would be able to do the same thing, elaborating points and ideas without the step of playing the recorder and typing it as I said it. Being able to simply sit and talk through the ideas that I have on the articles would be a time saver. Plus I talk to myself anyway a lot so this way I could actually blame it on using a software program
Time is something that I have little of with all the businesses that I own. I am constantly typing and my fingers sure could use the time off. With the 150 words per minute my articles could get done in a snap and have much more thought to them as they would be freshly thought of. Speaking of time, for more information you might want to read the review.
Watch the video and decide for yourself. Now, you will be able to control your time and enable yourself an avenue to write those articles faster, clearer and more concise.

Sea Shells & EBay
Pandora @ 06:43
Over the weekend I was looking for a specific shell for a product that we make. I am nearly out and will need them this month. It was my error in not checking the stock sooner
I decided that since I was updating my eBay store front Mystic Witch it would be just as easy to look on there. Sometimes for certain items I can find huge lots for less than I pay with vendors I work with (Sorry guys, it's true).
I happened upon one such shell that was decorative, sturdy and a large lot. Perfect! Until I really looked at the article particulars. Then it wasn't that great of a deal.
The post showed a very large box of these shells. Shipping was $16+ expedited envelope. The item price was 25 cents. Now, there are sellers that do this. Placing an item for as low a price as possible in hopes it will rise well above what they want. The price was nothing strange it was the shipping method. I looked at the box of shells and knew there was something fishy. I wrote to the seller asking if it was per shell (which was not what the listing stated at all) and if it was for the entire lot (what it did state) how are you getting those shells in an envelope?
Receiving a curt and brief answer it was 25 cents per shell, and I could purchase the entire box at a higher price.
Usually I would just laugh this off. I was tempted to turn this person in. Why? Due to the fact that as a Power Seller, listing items of a higher ship rate than normal I get a warning. Someone is going to send a shell that probably weighs 1 ounce or maybe 2 completely in an envelope with bubble wrap to a customer for $16 plus dollars? And that is OK?
I realize that eBay can not police every post but to me that is just abusing the system to the maximum.
Why on earth would anyone pay that much for a sea shell? An average one not something special.
To me if the rules apply to us it should apply to all.
Needless to say I am not bidding nor has anyone else

Credits To Use Playing Second Life
Pandora @ 16:08
Do you play Second Life? I know that I play this game off and on when I have time. I love it and would love to play more but that is neither here nor there.
One thing playing this game is that you need lindens which is a form of money to purchase things that you want or need in the game. One way to get free credits for this game is to use the free habbo credits that you easily earn over at the site Metarl.
Now, what exactly are they and how does it work? You can earn credits by filling out surveys, play games , participate in community contests, and other ways as well. The credits that you earn may be easily transferred in the virtual account that you have painlessly. What a cool way in order to get those lindens that you need! Playing games to earn credits? Wow, that is to good to be true!
OK, you are thinking, That sounds great but what is the catch and is this legal? There is no catch and yes indeed this is 100% legal to do. Everything on the site is FREE to utilize. You choose what you want to participate in to earn those credits.
I don't know about you but this is one way that I will be starting to build credits for lindens. There are other virtual games this may be used for as well. They are Entropia and IMVU
Earn your credits today!

Learning To Save Money
Pandora @ 15:35
One thing that I am trying to teach my younger boys and that is to save money. My older son already knows the importance of savings and I have no trouble with him at all. He has always known the value of a dollar
My youngest son, Nick, is on his way to a banking fortune. haha Our school last year opened up a branch of student banking hosted by the local credit union. Each week students may deposit any denomination of money into their accounts. Nick during the short time it was opened managed to save $98. We did miss the last banking day last year so we carried the funds over.
So with the start of the new school year they began the student banking earlier. Over the summer Nick managed to save $29.81.
The student tellers and bank representative all remembered him (small school helps) as he was the Super Saver of last year. They were amazed at all the change that he had accumulated. I had sorted the coins out placing them in separate envelopes for their ease of counting.
This year in order to teach Nick the real value of saving, which I am hoping it will carry through to his adult life, he will earn a pay check like of $5. From that he will place at least $1.75 of that into his account. This way when he is older he might automatically save from his employment paychecks in the future.
We have had long talks about what interest is. He now understands that while his money is in the bank it earns interest and he gets that. We go over his savings statement as well. Never to young to learn
The hardest point that I had to teach him was that his money was safe and there in his account over the summer. He began crying one day saying that now that the school bank was closed all his money was gone. He did not fully understand his money was still in his name and safe. Finally, after reading his bank statements and long, long explanations he now knows his money was there and still is.
He was so proud of his savings today. When I walked him to class after his deposit, he looked at me and said "I'm big money ballin" That's my boy
