Pandora's Casket

I was supposed to me looking into a school for my daughter. She has decided that she is interested in IT jobs so realizes that she has to go back to school in order to obtain the desired training for these top notch jobs.

While supposed to be looking (key word, supposed) I deviated a titch and started looking at these silly tests. Even though they are pretty stupid to take I think that they are fun to do every once and while.

Why not take the test or another one and see what hand sign you are. I think that this is one of the few that I did not totally agree on at all. Oh well there are other tests to take another day that may be closer. And since they are meant to be fun you can't take them to seriously that is for sure!

I love candles. Especially the scented tea light candles that are out. They make the room not only have a certain mood of softness to it but I love the aroma.

One favorite candle of mine is made by Glade. They really put off the scent and fills the room. I have used others and I have yet to find one I like as much. I used the one by Fabreeze and it was OK but not worth the money to me. It lasted a little longer than the Glade candle but did not fill the air like I enjoy. Another candle that I have tried that I would place in second place as far as scent goes are the candles by Betty Crocker. The down fall? They can make you crave certain foods! haha

Has anyone tried a candle that is scented that works as well? I would love to find another brand that works. As the cheaper ones just are, well, cheap and do not work at all

The other day the baby was crying in his crib and you could barely hear him in the kitchen. Since Jeremy sleeps on the second floor it is hard to hear him sometimes. Not all the time though, that boy has some lungs on him! At first I started looking at unique baby gifts for Shay and Nick and then the crying episode happened.

I swiftly purchased a two monitor and base baby monitor set for them. That way everyone can hear the baby when they are on the second or even third floor. I had one with all my children and they were life savers in hearing what they were up to!

Every parent should have one. Or that is my opinion

We have needed rain for well over three weeks now. Our grass sounds terrible when you walk on it. Since there has been no rain of course we are on a no water lawns and such here. Actually the funny thing is that hardly anyone has a sprinkler system. With the normal torrential down pours that we have the rain is what waters the grass around here. At first I thought that was just absurd, then I saw for myself. Made a believer out of me that is for sure. You just wait for the rain to come pouring down and that is how they water. Of course we do have water flowers with hoses and such but the lawns? No way.

I am really glad that we are not rationing water other than the lawns otherwise everyone would surely need some heavy duty acne cure in our town. OK, there are some that need it anyway but lack of water and bathing would make it worse. haha
