Take A Break
Pandora @ 04:22
Sometimes people just need to take a break away from the path that they are walking upon to take a look at where they are going and where they are at the particular moment. It is not like while you are on this break your deities will turn their backs on you. Sometimes it is they that are pushing you for the break.
There are times when each of us has entered the dark night of the soul, not knowing where or for some who they truly are. Loosing faith, wondering if in fact treading the path once happily on now is the right one. Feeling that overwhelm and captivate us to a point of anger, loathing, and other very dark, deep emotions. Most often these are the times that other events are cropping up as well. Maybe a loss of job, friend or illness has occurred leading those to wonder where the deity is as they are not listening and helping. Thinking if they are not listening and helping why bother? With the anger already being felt more anger is layered.
What each individual does during these times is usually a lot of soul searching. Yes, there are rituals that may be done to help with this but the one that is common is not something that everyone that is going through this should do as it might make things worse for their mental health. Those that are mentally strong enough and ready for should do this working as it is intense and well worth it.
With the economic slump that we are in I have discussed this with many of my students as there seems to be a larger amount of those having doubts due to asking if the deity were there wouldn't they help? Telling those what they do not wish to hear, they are helping you by not helping. Your destiny is yours not theirs. It is you and you alone that must make the personal decision to get up and strive for personal best even during trying times. They are there even during the dark soul travels hoping beyond hope that the path you take leads back into their warm embrace.
So, while at first you might feel uncomfortable at taking your break, relax and enjoy being a mundane for awhile. Do the things that you need to do. Maybe learn something new or start a new hobby such as to learn to play piano. Who knows being a mundane might just be who you really are!
