Pandora's Casket

Well we went out for the second morning showing of the meteor show. WOW! There was one that was huge that streaked across the sky and was a vibrant yellow. Absolutely beautiful to say the least. I have not ever seen anything like that before and so very glad that I was there to finally witness something other than the smaller ones that were numerous shooting here and there.

Tonight BB and Jamie came out to watch the show along with Colton and Nicky. Trevor came out for a bit calling us crackheads then going off to bed to listen to his ipods music more than likely.

They say that the best showing will be between 4AM and dawn so if I am still up and about working I might just throw on my jacket (yes, it is chilly out) and see if I can catch more of the show.

OK, so the big meteor shower is supposed to be taking place. Since our sky is wide open and not a lot city lights (OK we have two city lights here in town) the sky is pretty clear for a good viewing.

We decide that we will partake in the glory. Shay, Colt, Nicky and I go outside to sit. What did we see?

Well, a UFO that turned out to be a plane. Twinkling stars and nothing. Children being children get bored. Shay and Nicky begin to play 'Who can spit on Who'. Such a nice family style game. Running up and down our street spitting on one another. Fun times in this cow patty town.

Of course not to be left out BB comes out. Rather lets her dog out which Ruby Doo starts peeing all over where I was sitting after she came charging at us. Then proceeds to go poop. BB is standing there saying 'It's OK it happens!'. Really gross. Every few seconds BB would pop off with Oh saw one. Which she did not.

Nicky ended up throwing one of those charming 9 year old fits like they do and sat across the street by the corn field. I told him the kids from the field were going to come out and get him. hahahaha Of course that made him madder than he already was and he went in the house. Colt was laying in the street with Sh*t Brick on his lap. Yep, really a bunch of crackheads here. haha

FINALLY! Set off those fire alarms I saw one! Woohoo, just one but that is OK. After another what seemed like an eternity there was another. We decided that was it for the night.

We are going out again around midnight because they say Wednesday is the best day. We shall see!

These are perfect for any room actually and are reasonably priced. While I was venturing over on this site I took a look at the sock monkey that I actually wanted to purchase for Jeremy. They ares so cute. Makes a perfect gift for the perfect grandson!

"Why don't you call?" Ah, one of my favorite lines to hear from my (coughing) friends. I receive email upon emails with that phrase, or left on my answering machine. Most of the time I laugh when I hear this as if you are a close friend of mine you know that phrase will not guilt me into calling or even emailing you any sooner than I do at the present. I simply laugh and forget about it. Adding it to my list of maybe I will do.

Another line that makes me laugh is 'Is your cellular phones not working?' Ha, of course they are working. I just do not want to use them to call you is all.

Now, there are a lot of reasons for my lack of calling people. Number one I really do not like to sit gabbing hours and hours away listening to what is wrong with your world and those in it. Usually I will sit in front of the computer and work putting in my gratuitous " A ha's and yea that is right's in the right places not really listening to a word you are saying. Sorry but sometimes I just do not care any more than you really do about how the dog just chewed the back of my couch the other day and how I am going to skin them all alive. Seriously, do you care? A HA! Thought so you don't!

So lets just keep it the way it is. I email you every week, two weeks or whatever and you answer and we go back and forth. Oh I know you will break down and ask again why I do not call.
