Pandora @ 15:23
Have you ever tried to get children to floss? Besides trying to teach them how to wrap the floss around their fingers and insert it without hanging themselves it can be an ordeal-Of the bad kind. Fear no more now using kid friendly kids floss this is no longer a problem!
With the floss having yumm-o flavors, easy to hold flossing plastic handle your children now can easily maneuver in between their teeth and have healthy, shiny gum's!
Plus they come in bright colors and are disposable. No floss hanging over the waste basket any longer! This has been a real winner in my household. Even my older son enjoyed them. Don't believe me? Here is his own testament of approval.
Rock and roll Colton. You are on!

A Definition Clarification
Pandora @ 04:56
Put down that acne treatment that you are using and read what a 'hacker' really is. Hackers do not generally do the work for people and then request to be paid for it. Wow, if that is the case I am doing something way wrong here. So, I thought that I would post what a hacker is and does for those of you that like to throw the term around not realizing that you have a helmet on due to your misinformation. This is taken from the site of:
SearchSecurity.com Definitions
Hacker is a term used by some to mean "a clever programmer" and by others, especially those in popular media, to mean "someone who tries to break into computer systems."
1) Eric Raymond, compiler of The New Hacker's Dictionary, defines a hacker as a clever programmer. A "good hack" is a clever solution to a programming problem and "hacking" is the act of doing it. Raymond lists five possible characteristics that qualify one as a hacker, which we paraphrase here:
A person who enjoys learning details of a programming language or system
A person who enjoys actually doing the programming rather than just theorizing about it
A person capable of appreciating someone else's hacking
A person who picks up programming quickly
* A person who is an expert at a particular programming language or system, as in "Unix hacker"
Raymond deprecates the use of this term for someone who attempts to crack someone else's system or otherwise uses programming or expert knowledge to act maliciously. He prefers the term cracker for this meaning.
2) The term hacker is used in popular media to describe someone who attempts to break into computer systems. Typically, this kind of hacker would be a proficient programmer or engineer with sufficient technical knowledge to understand the weak points in a security system.

Needlepoint Sale!!
Pandora @ 04:40
This morning I was thrilled to see that the company that I usually purchase needlepoint items from has added one Halloween set on the 'big' sale that they are having.
Of course the things that I really want did not go on sale but you never know it just might
The bad thing about this set is it includes napkins. Only 4 of them at that. The part that I want is a runner that has the black cats and a bright pumpkin on it. I guess instead of having my salicylic acid reaction happen over this I can just either not do them or do them and use them as dollies or something. Who knows! haha
This runner will not get done until NEXT Halloween. I do not want to stress myself you know. haha

Have you ever had to explain something to a company using strictly email communications? Boy, is it ever hard to do. Personally I would rather have the opportunity to talk directly to the person or persons in question but when they do not divulge business telephone numbers this is not easy to do.
My first thought is about the telephone number is why is this? Oh, maybe due to the lack of communication via email the phone lines might be swamped with dis-satisfied customers calling and calling. Although I fear this business would have an answering machine that would have some type of stupid response as 'We are SO busy we can not take your calls'.
Trying to communicate in the electronic manner is fine yet it is so frustrating to do. Much like trying to look into a life insurance lead that has just an empty source.
IF it is something that is important to a consumer, these businesses should make it a top priority to answer immediately. Or try to. Not waiting 24 hours whey the consumer knows full well that they have read the email and would rather put it off.
Very bad business practice indeed.
