Cold & Flu Season Strikes Early
Pandora @ 08:45
I can always tell when winter is here way before the actual day hits. It starts with the first sniffle of one of the kids noses.
If you have school age children you know full well that your home is like a ticking bomb ready to be set off with a slew of germs at any time. The dreaded flu or cold. Whatever you want to call it the symptoms start in slowly. Creeping into your home like a thief. Silent at first with a sniffle, a muffled cough until that moment of truth. The fever, the delirium and well the unmentionable other effects that tie up your bathroom for what seems to be an eternity.
Starting with one and then just like manure sliding down hill until it has left no child or adult untouched. Each one being knocked down like bowling pins until you here STRIKE. They all have it.
This is what is going on right now. Colt while being in the captive room actually read an article on the best wrinkle cream to use. Telling me things that I really did not care about as I just wanted to know that the bathroom was unoccupied to wash my hands. And they say reading is good for you. Pssh, right.
This is the start of the season. Four more long, sickly months to go.

Pills Can Be The Death of You
Pandora @ 08:40
Every ask your doctor why the pills they give you always seem to resemble horse supplements ? I mean really. They prescribe medications for our health and well being yet they are so big that we sometimes can barely swallow them. Which brings our gag reflexes into full gear nearly choking on the same pills that are supposed to make us feel better. Why is that?
Maybe it is true if it does not kill you it must be good for you. It takes me a few moments to get ready for the swallow. Oh, I thought about maybe chopping them in half but come on that is just to much work to do.
So pill in one hand and a gallon of water in the other it is fight the pill. Gagging it down all the way. Yep, I feel better already.

Halloween on Halloween
Pandora @ 08:37
Imagine that. We are having Halloween on Halloween. Yes, on the 31st we will be out trick or treating. Not on the 30th like those douche bags of a town council made us do last year.
I have to wonder if maybe the people pitched a moan so loud last year that they saw that it was the stupidest thing that they may have done. Well, that and trying to sell the only drawing point of our town, the Indian that is.
So, now there will only be one day to walk the streets. I am very happy about that!
