Pandora's Casket

After the Halloween jaunt it seems that now I just feel Blah. Tired and energy just low. I have a ton of things that I should be doing but actually all I would like to do is lay down and take a nap.

But since it is Sunday I have the normal things that I do. One of the first things I did this morning was clean the Great Room. Didn't take all that long to do but it feels a little better down there. I moved on to thinking about cleaning off the tv stands which I noticed that the kids have piled a bunch of things all over. Nice job guys!

Now that it is nearly 2:30 I still have to do a load of wash and settle in to thinking about what needs to be accomplished tomorrow for work. Never really ends does it?

Last night one of the first things that I sat and thought about was Thanksgiving coming up. I have said it so many times but feel the need to say it one more time (until next year) I hate Thanksgiving.

All the cooking and cleaning. And for what? Ten minutes of eating? Just does not seem like the thing that I want to do. In fact I would rather have a ton of granite tile fall on me at a high speed.

Since I know that will not happen I have to start planning the dinner menu and who will be doing what. It does help that the kids are older and will be able again to cook a dish. That really helps me a lot. That way I am not stuck doing it all like the past 100 years of making this stupid meal.

Twenty something more days. WOW! I am thrilled.

Without leaving the older boys out of the mix had to put their pictures up as well. If not I am sure that they would try and sue by hiring Oklahoma City lawyers to get the job done right!

First picture is of Nicky. He was about half way finished and acting like a fool. The make up process either tickled or hurt. Plus he could not sit still to save his soul or my nerves. In the end he made a handsome Count Nickula!






Colton was easy. He just wanted to wear a mask and that was it. Since we have a ton of those I just grabbed one and poof done. This was while we were standing around waiting to go. Taking forever till the time came around. The attractive little Miss next to him is his long time girlfriend, Megan. She came with us for a couple of hours. As you can see Colt is the jokerster!

This was Jeremy's first Halloween and he loved every minute of it. Of course what baby wouldn't? You get all the ohh's and ahh's of all the adults and even children as well. You do not have to hold cad drawings to see who the cutest one was

Next year he can run along side of Nicky and maybe Colton if he goes out with us! How fun will that be? Of course Colton will be 16 so he might not want to go out with us then. haha Halloween was a lot of fun for all. Very cold at the end when the temps dropped down to 45 degrees. Time then to roll it up and get out of dodge to go home!!!

One thing that I can not stand and that is the time changes.

One of the things that really attracted me to Indiana at the time nearly four years ago was the fact that there were no changes. One time all year round. What happens within a year of being here? They vote to have the time changes again.

I mean come on! I really dislike the fact that we have to do it. Go back go forward. I would much rather stay at one sane time instead of having to change my clocks and my internal clock every few months.

Oh well the general public does not have a say in this so we might as well grin and bear it. Complaining at times off and on. Especially the first two weeks, which is exactly how long it takes me to get used to it!
