Pandora's Casket

This evening I went to the first Friday night auction here in Montpeculiar. There was more people there than I had thought there would be in attendance which makes the competition more fun in a way. Well, not for one item that I wanted and a flea market type trash person beat me. That really annoyed me. But all is fair in bidding wars!

The funniest thing that happened there was the auctioning off of cheese. Yes, you read that right cheese! There were 1 pound baggies put together of various cheeses. Like Colby, Swiss and so on. No, I thought that was just unsanitary especially when one of the handlers rubbed one package on his stomach. Ok, funny but nasty! Eww to the chees. And it was going like hot cakes at that.

Maybe next Friday there will be a bunch of maxoderm to be auctioned off! hahaha

All and all I did pretty good with the junk, I mean good stuff that I bought. A bunch of new books and other goodies for the store front. Tomorrow will take my lap top downstairs and work on those things before putting them in the work room. A lot of work means some good money to be made!

It's that time of year here with me to take inventory. This is one thing that I really do not like to do. I have to go through all the oils, herbs and other things to make sure what is there and what is lacking. Making sure that the stores all are up to date and full.

I started the inventory of the office products and the shipping supplies. I was amazed that I was so very low on items such as baggies and EPS mailers. Made me mad at myself for not noticing that earlier. Not to mention that the count of sampler vials were way off and I had to re-order immediately. Luckily the company that I go through ships very fast and they came today. A very big relief.

So instead of looking at Fendi bags like I would prefer I will be looking for inventory updates and ordering through my vendors this weekend and during the week.

The past week we have suffered through a pretty nice sized snow storm. Children were off school nearly the entire week and by today they or should I say I was more than ready for them to return!

The sun finally came out and it looked so pretty with the sun and the fresh layers upon layers of snow that had fallen. Very cold but not as bad as a few weeks we had last year.

One thing while we were cooped up that I thought was funny and that was Shay was looking into fda approved diet pills as she thinks she needs to loose weight. I have no idea where that is maybe her big toe! haha

Anyway, it was a nice day with the sun and a little warmer. Oh, but there is yet another storm on the horizon for us!
