Pandora's Casket

Starting tomorrow is the official prom count down start date that Colton and I have started. Even though the prom is in late April there is so much to do, get and order.

His girlfriend has purchased her gown so is now finished with looking at formal dresses for the prom. The dress as I said is pretty and the shoes are really pretty. Pictures going back and forth showing this and that either purchased or thinking about purchasing is an every day thing now.

Comparing preparing girls to boys with a big prom or ball there is only a slight difference in the cost of clothing. Boys are rental charges and all the extras that are needed such as flowers, dinner, shoes, tickets and pictures.

The time will fly by before the prom and April 23rd will be here before I know it!

Last week we were hit with snow and ice storms. Cold, icy and blankets of snow covered our area. Friday school was canceled much to the dislike of the parents and kids. Closures mean more days added to the schedule and the date for summer break is pushed further away. Right now we are still looking at late May for end of school yet many districts are estimating June 10th or even later than that.

Last night we hit with a thunder storm that dumped quiet a bit of rain on us. Flood watches and even a few tornado watches went up as well. The winds were terrible for a while reminding us that tornado season is just around the bend. Where we are those people buying a franchise will be happy to know that we did not have any flooding so the area is a little on the safe side.

Going from snow, ice storm to thunder storm within a few days of each other shows how unpredictable our weather can be. Today's forecast snow yet again!

I have started (finally) the new storefront site and it is starting to look pretty good. Last night I placed a lot of the oils in the store but I have over 500 titles to list so it should take a good week or so just with that. Plus the powders, herbs and kits I think two weeks and I may be more than half way finished.

In looking at the product pictures I decided to update them. They really do not look as good as they could plus I want to add a few props to go along with them. In order to help take more professional pictures I decided to break down and purchase a photo tent. This is what I purchased below.






I think with practice this will help present more professional pictures for the store front!

Besides watching TV tonight I will start the new book that I purchased the other day. I finished the book, Endurance, which was really a warped and different book but I enjoyed it a lot. Now I will be starting the book Red Church. Seems like it has everything you need. Demons, blood, gore and more. haha The author has a twisted mind that is slightly like King but without a lot, and I mean a lot more gore in the books.

Red Church was on my list of books to download so I am so excited to start it. Endurance was hard to put down and didn't take long to read it at all. Hoping this one will be the same way.

Having the Kindle on the Ipad is perfect to lay in bed to read with. The lighting is perfect even when all the lights are out. Plus you do not have to hold it like a regular book. Oh, I will still purchase books as there is nothing like the smell and feel of a new book when you get it. I guess it would rate up there for a person that just found the best diet pills to supplement their new diet plan.

So with dinner planned, book downloaded and netflex & huluplus updated I am set for the long haul of the night!!

Tonight is Saturday Subway night for us. Usually on the weekend we have Subway for dinner which takes the place of cooking dinner. I love getting a good subway sandwich and plopping down to watch some mindless program on TV. It is so relaxing. Plus I do not have to worry about cooking a meal.

If you eat properly at Subway you do not have to worry that much about the stomach weight loss that you achieved. Since they do have healthy choices which makes eating there a plus! Look what it did for Gerad

I love the tuna but the second choice is the buffalo chicken. Yummy time there!

Tomorrow night it will be mom cooks dinner night for the gang! haha

A couple of us gals were talking the other day about summer and what we had planned. I am thrilled that we can go outside and start walking again instead of nearly freezing to the sidewalks. I love walking here since it is so quiet and peaceful. One of the best walks is when there is a slight breeze going through the trees reminding me of the mountains. Love that a lot.

Sherri was wondering about what would be the best to help her with her diet that she is starting. She wants something that will go along with her eating right, exercise and finding which diet pills really work to help her loose the weight she wants to.

I told her to start running a search and read the reviews that are so numerous. She is bound to find the right supplement needed.

Sunshine and warmer weather sure gets people started thinking about diets and getting into shape from the winter!

I can not believe that in a hand full of days February will be over and behind us. March appointments and events are already filling the calendar up quickly.

March 5th I am going with Norm to some flea market that he has found. Sounded like fun to go just shop around. Taking Nicky and Jeremy that day and Trevor said he might go as well. Having the boys along will certainly make it a better day. Colt is going with Megan so he is a no show. haha

Norm has been complaining about the cost of the new male enhancement drugs that he has been taking. Makes me laugh a lot when he talks about that. Especially since he has gone through all the babes in HC and he isn't dating. haha Oh well makes him happy I guess. Plus gives me something to really poke fun of him about!
