One thing that I like to do with my repeat customers is to place Thank you cards along with their orders. It makes it more personal and the clients appreciate the added touch. I have had many compliments on this. Not to mention with the hand written signature is always a plus.
It brings back the old fashioned, personal style of business. You will indeed stand out within the crowd of other companies. That 2 minute signing and stuffing may lead to years of future business. Plus word of mouth.
One card that I found fits our store and items perfectly it is the Modern Fresco Thank you card. It is absolutely beautiful as you can see here,

Ordering the cards is simple. You have the option to have the envelopes personalized, which will save time in the long run. Especially if you are hand writing personalized notes as I
do.
When you are writing to your customers do not be generic. Take the time to write their first names, if you are on that level of intimacy. Or address it as Mr Customer or Ms Customer. Point out what they have purchased and how you appreciate their business.
Make sure that your writing is legible. You want them to be able to read what it is you have written. Another thing I like to add is if they have told me something is coming up, an event. A birthday, anniversary etc., I will simply add a well wishes to them. Finally, make sure you have spelled everything correctly. Especially their names! Sounds silly but it is a common mistake.
Show your customers you appreciate them by taking the time to personalize a thank you note to them. They will return and tell others as well.
