Recently a friend of mine was told by her eye doctor that he felt that the best thing for her to do was to get Lasik surgery. After all there has been millions of people that have gotten it done. And with marvelous results. She said that she would think about it and went home. Three weeks later he contacted her asking why she had not made a consultation appointment. Her reply was that she could not get it done as she heard by a friend of a friend that there would be massive swelling and she had an image to maintain.
